Bandai's "Bikkura Tamago Go! Pokémon Type Bath Ball" First Wave Features Ice-type and Ghost-type Pokémon to Bathe With You

Following the "Catch Pokémon in the Bathtub!" series, which was based on Pokémon, Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's bath additive toy series "Bikkura Tamago" has announced a brand new "Go! Pokémon Type Bath Ball." The first wave will feature "Ice-type Pokémon" and "Ghost-type Pokémon," with 5 different types in each, priced at 858 JPY, and scheduled for release in September 2024.

With the new "Go! Pokémon Type Bath Ball" series, when you drop the white Poké Ball into the bathtub, the bathwater's color will change according to the Pokémon's type~ and a Pokémon figurine of that type will appear in the tub! This allows toy enthusiasts to experience the thrill of sending out a Pokémon by throwing a Poké Ball, just like in the games and anime. Each type also contains different bath additive ingredients, allowing you to further immerse yourself (physically) in the world of Pokémon.

The "Go! Pokémon Type Bath Ball: Ice-type Pokémon" will feature a lineup of 5 Pokémon: Lapras, Cetitan, Eiscue (Ice Face), Alolan Vulpix, and Regice. In addition to bathing with these adorable figurines, the bath ball will turn the bathwater blue, representing the Ice type, and contain cooling menthol, along with a soda scent, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of bathing with Ice-type Pokémon~

The "Go! Pokémon Type Bath Ball: Ghost-type Pokémon" includes five Pokémon: Gengar, Gholdengo, Misdreavus, Mimikyu, and Greavard. The bath ball will turn the bathwater purple, representing the Ghost type (with a lavender scent), and contains titanium dioxide, a cloudy ingredient that evokes a sense of darkness, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of bathing with Ghost-type Pokémon~
