American toy brand NECA recently unveiled a series of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" themed products launched at the well-known US retailer Target. This article will introduce the "Vacation Bebop and Rocksteady" 7-inch action figure 2-pack, with a suggested retail price of US$59.99, now available at Target stores!

Bebop and Rocksteady's vacation outfits appeared in the 1987 animated series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Season 5, Episode 9, titled "Napoleon Bonafrog: Colossus of the Swamps." Shredder and the duo traveled to Florida in search of more mutagenic genes, accidentally hitting Napoleon Bonafrog, who was talking to the Ninja Turtles, with a mutagen ray. This transformed him into a giant mutant frog, who briefly obeyed Shredder's commands.

This product is a modified version based on the previously released standard "Bebop and Rocksteady" figures. The sculpting faithfully recreates their in-show appearance, dressed in Hawaiian shirts, straw hats, and sunglasses, ready for a Florida vacation. The paint application utilizes a cel-shaded animation art style with flat colors and black outlines, reproducing the vibrant clothing colors and cartoon aesthetic. In addition to interchangeable hands and vacation gear such as a camera, shoulder bag, and small cooler, the set also includes the caterpillar that mutated after Rocksteady flicked it into the mutagen pool in the episode. It can also be paired with the previously released Napoleon Bonafrog action figure to recreate the hilarious scene where he lifts them up like juggling balls! Let these two dimwits help you catch the last bit of summer!
