This time, I'm going to photograph Asmus Toys' Nobara Kugisaki from Jujutsu Kaisen!
Asmus Toys is a Taiwanese brand. It's great to see a Taiwanese toy brand continuously cultivating its craft.
This time, I also approached photographing this character with the emotions I felt after watching the anime. That final line, "My life wasn't so bad!"
really brought tears to my eyes; it was so heartbreaking!
In any case, Asmus Toys now covers everything from realistic movie characters to game characters and anime characters. The expression on this Nobara head sculpt is quite well done; I really like this mischievous smile, which perfectly fits the character's setting.
Here's another close-up of a faint smile. I actually discovered that this tomboy also has a very feminine side XD
But seeing it still brings a touch of sadness.
Every detail of the outfit, hammer, straw doll, and student leather shoes is spot on, which is satisfying. The ground contact is better compared to the previous Satoru Gojo figure – it's a bit more stable, but there's still room for improvement.
Then tragedy struck: while posing, I accidentally made the jacket 'explode' @@
However, the way the jacket flew up also created a sense of dynamism, so I just went ahead and photographed it like that, and it seems to work. Otherwise, if this character's skirt or clothes don't have internal soft wires or similar features when posing, it would feel a bit lacking for photography. If there were wires to bend into shape, I believe it would greatly enhance the visual appeal~
