Following the previous releases of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, JOYTOY, the high-quality collectible action figure brand from China, is once again launching two new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed products: the 1/18 scale action figures of Bebop and Rocksteady. Each figure is priced at an estimated $46.99 USD and is expected to be released in December 2024!
Bebop and Rocksteady are the classic villainous duo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Originally street gang members, they were later mutated into animal forms by Shredder using mutagenic ooze, transforming into a simple-minded, brawny mutant warthog and a mutant rhinoceros, respectively, to fight our turtle heroes alongside Shredder!
These two action figures are also officially licensed, standing approximately 11.5 cm tall. Based on their classic animated series designs, Bebop and Rocksteady are presented in cool, fully-armed styles. Bebop's mohawk hairstyle is even more exaggerated, highlighting various punk elements such as his leather vest and canvas shoes. Accessories include a double-neck guitar, a machine gun, a manhole cover shield, a power drill, and other items, fully showcasing Bebop's punk style while also equipping him with formidable firepower!
Rocksteady's design, on the other hand, features added elements like a steel helmet and goggles, enhancing his military style. In addition to the manhole cover shield, his machine gun appears to have even greater firepower. He also comes with two sets of tactical straps, large cannon shells, and a saber, plus an extra boombox, allowing him to fight to the rhythm of the music! Furthermore, the base for these figures, like the previous Ninja Turtles, includes a small, meticulously painted manhole cover base fragment. These can be combined using pegs for display. However, with these two characters, only half of a full manhole cover can be assembled. We wonder if other characters will be released to complete the remaining circle?
