The popular "Nendoroid" series, with over a thousand items released by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has announced its latest product based on the popular game "Silent Hill 2": the "Nendoroid Pyramid Head"!! The suggested retail price is 6,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025.
The monster character Pyramid Head (also known as Red Pyramid Thing), who appears in the game "Silent Hill 2", was designed by Masahiro Ito. Its distinctive appearance features a triangular, cone-shaped metal helmet that conceals its face, a body covered in blood, and a massive machete in hand. Possessing the immense strength to grab a person by the throat with a single hand, it also emits painful groans from time to time... creating an intense sense of dread, making it one of the most feared classic monsters in the gaming world.
This terrifying, faceless monster from the game is now also available as a Q-version "Nendoroid Pyramid Head"! Maintaining the Nendoroid series' proportions and 10 cm size, the rusted triangular cone helmet is faithfully recreated with a glossy finish, detailing its uneven rust marks. While the overall design is simpler and cuter, when paired with its fearsome great machete and spear weapons, you can enjoy a playful yet eerie sense of contrast!
