The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the commercialization of "Ultraman Belial Clear Color Ver." from the "Ultraman" series. Further details are expected to be released soon.
Ultraman Belial was originally one of the warriors protecting the Land of Light, but due to his delusion of pursuing greater power, he approached the forbidden core of the "Plasma Spark Tower," violating the M78 Space Garrison Law and being exiled. While wandering the universe, Belial acquired the "Reionics" factor, which allows control over monsters. His body and personality underwent drastic changes, transforming him into the most malevolent and powerful Ultraman. He repeatedly led monster armies to seek revenge on the Land of Light and even attempted to establish a galactic empire to dominate the entire universe.
The "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Belial Clear Color Ver." is a modification based on the regular version released in 2019. The main body sculpt was also produced in cooperation with Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, faithfully recreating his malevolent and cunning head, his giant claws unlike those of ordinary Ultraman, and detailed styling reminiscent of his on-screen costume. What's different is that this version's body is painted with clear parts as a base, presenting a special texture that allows for a translucent view of its internal structure.
