BANDAI's GASHAPON capsule toy division, after releasing the "Chūnibyō Cat (厨二猫)" capsule toys, which no one understood and exuded an air of aloofness, is now making a grand return to the world of new capsule toys! They are commemoratively launching "Chūnibyō Cat ~Our Black History Best Selection~." Yare yare~ How can you not get one? Scheduled to be released in September 2024!
Forever a Second-Year Middle Schooler...!
Although two years have passed... Chūnibyō students never graduate! GASHAPON's "Chūnibyō Cat ~Our Black History Best Selection~" capsule toys continue the Chūnibyō style of the previous work, featuring cats immersed in a dark world as their comedic selling point. This collection brings together previously popular characters such as Calico Cat A with dark power sealed in its left eye, Ancient Nova Calico Cat B with its seal released, Jet Black Overlord White Cat A, White Cat B, Proud Afterimage Tabby Cat, Odd-Eyed Gray Cat draped in a king's dark cloak, and Black Cat whose right hand's seal can no longer suppress its impending rampage... Recalling those "black history" moments! Each figure measures approximately 6.5 to 70mm in height, and comes with a Chūnibyō-themed base. Perhaps swapping them with other capsule toys could create a new vibe? Now then~ Let the Chūnibyō influence continue to expand!
