BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the seventh installment of its popular candy toy series, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA," with "G-FRAME FA 07" scheduled for release in January 2025.
"Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" is a series of movable Gundam models that combine realistic proportions with intricate sculpting. By collecting both the "Movable Frame Set" and the "Armor Set," collectors can assemble a Gundam model approximately 10 cm tall. The FA version, an evolution from its predecessor, features improved armor coverage for the arms and the back of the thighs, and eliminates the armor connection structure behind the knees, preventing the need for forced holes in the rear calf armor to avoid connection pegs. The chest armor is also less prone to detachment compared to previous versions, and the waist joint's ease of assembly and disassembly has been enhanced.
The latest "G-FRAME FA 07" will feature the final mobile suit of protagonists Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne from the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," the "Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam," the transformable MS "Hambrabi" developed by the Titans in "Mobile Suit Z Gundam," and the Principality of Zeon's first mass-produced MS equipped with beam weapons from the original "Mobile Suit Gundam," the "Gelgoog (Standard Type/Commander Type)."
The Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam requires collecting three box sets of parts: the Movable Frame Set, the Armor Set, and the Proud Defender. The frame parts also utilize gold molding to replicate the central design. Not only does the main body feature flexible articulation, but it can also recreate the Proud Defender's wing deployment. It comes with two High-Energy Beam Rifles and the physical sword "Futsunomitama" for dynamic battle poses.
The Hambrabi features intricate exterior sculpting in the G-FRAME series style. Both the non-articulated frame and articulated frame parts utilize new molds specifically designed for the Hambrabi. It can be posed with its included Long-Range Beam Rifle, Sea Serpent whip, and other weapons, and can also transform into its MA (Mobile Armor) form using the new frame.
The Gelgoog is a modification of the Char's Custom specification from the sixth installment. The entire mobile suit features the characteristic military green color scheme of the standard type and comes with a shield, Rocket Launcher (Johnny Ridden's Custom Weapon), Prototype Beam Rifle (Anavel Gato's Custom Weapon), High Mobility Type Backpack, Commander Type Head Antenna, and Beam Naginata (stored state), among other abundant armaments.
