GASHAPON, the capsule toy brand of Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby in Japan, has announced the latest EX series product from the "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" capsule toy line for "Mobile Suit Gundam," which features common connection points and infinite customization. The "EX51 Perfect Zeong", based on "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV," is scheduled for release in December 2024.
The MSN-02 Perfect Zeong is the fully completed form of the famous "Zeong" mobile suit, which Char Aznable piloted in his decisive battle against Gundam in "Mobile Suit Gundam." Unlike its legless appearance in the anime, the Perfect Zeong replaces the multiple large thrusters on its lower body with leg units, boasting an impressive height of nearly 36 meters. It also adds a large physical saber as a close-combat weapon.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX51 Perfect Zeong" stands at a relatively massive 14 cm tall for the series, recreating the Perfect Zeong's low-head-to-body ratio with rich detail and color. It also includes the characteristic "large physical saber" weapon for this form, allowing for different combat styles than those seen in the anime.
If you, like the Zeon development technicians, believe that legs are merely decorative, the product also includes interchangeable parts to recreate its unfinished lower body appearance from the show. Furthermore, with dedicated parts, effect parts, and a clear display stand, you can recreate the firing pose of its wired psycommu arms!
