American statue brand Tweeterhead is launching a new product based on Mattel's classic toy IP "Masters of the Universe" – the "Skeletor Legends" Classic Edition 1/5 scale collectible statue, with a suggested retail price of US$660, expected to be released between March and May 2025 (US time)!
Skeletor, the main antagonist of "Masters of the Universe," first appeared in the "Masters of the Universe" toy line produced by Mattel in 1987. He is determined to uncover the secrets of Castle Grayskull, believing its mystical power will allow him to rule the universe.
This "Skeletor Legends" statue is based on the Skeletor drawn by artist Alfredo P. Alcala in the mini-comics included with the original toy series. It is a modification of the "Skeletor" released in 2023, standing approximately 55.8 cm tall. It depicts him in a mighty pose, standing on a Snake Mountain-style sculpted base, with his realistic, muscular physique and costume details from the comics meticulously carved. The rough texture of his blue skin exudes an unsettling aura! The statue will also include interchangeable left and right hands; the left hand can be swapped to hold The Power Sword, and the right hand can be swapped to hold the Havoc Staff. Furthermore, it can be paired with an interchangeable head sculpt inspired by the original toy, reinterpreting the 80s toy aesthetic!
