The new merchandise series 'DESKTOP MONSTER', launched by GODZILLA ROOM, the IP management department for the 'Godzilla' series under Japan's Toho Co., Ltd., today announced the second product, the 'Godzilla DM Pen Stand', slated for release on September 14, 2024, following its first installment, the 'Godzilla Smartphone Stand'.
The 'DESKTOP MONSTER' series combines monster designs with convenient desktop tools. These monster figures, standing approximately 10 centimeters tall, feature exquisite sculpting and paintwork. They can be displayed as cool monster figures normally, and when needed, transform into handy desktop assistants, helping to organize various small tools around you.
1. Godzilla (1954)
2. Godzilla (1995)
The second installment, the 'Godzilla DM Pen Stand', features four designs. Each transforms a classic scene into a pen stand: Godzilla (1954) attacking the National Diet Building, Godzilla (1995) crying out to the heavens over the death of Godzilla Junior from "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah", Shin Godzilla (2016) amidst the fiery Tokyo, and Godzilla (2023) sinking the heavy cruiser "Takao" from "Godzilla Minus One". Beyond faithfully recreating the unique Godzilla body from each film, these powerful scenes are brought to life with rich color applications and various effect parts.
3. Godzilla (2016)
4. Godzilla (2023)
