Following the previous releases of "Caiman (Anime Version)", "Shin (Anime Version)", "Ebisu", and "Nikaido" in its "FigZero" 1/6 scale articulated figure series, which features characters from American and Japanese anime, manga, and tokusatsu, Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero has once again launched a new product based on the popular Japanese manga "Dorohedoro"—the "Noi" 1/6 scale articulated figure. The suggested retail price is yet to be announced, and it is expected to be released in Q4 2024!
"Dorohedoro" (ドロヘドロ) is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Q Hayashida, which was adapted into a TV anime by MAPPA in 2020. The story is set in a world where "The Hole," inhabited by ordinary people, coexists with the sorcerers' world. It begins with the protagonist Caiman, whose head was transformed into a lizard by a sorcerer's curse, and Nikaido, the owner of the "Hungry Bug" restaurant, as they hunt sorcerers.
Noi is an assassin under the "En" family, the largest family in the sorcerers' world. She is Shin's partner and also the cousin of the leader, En. She possesses powerful healing magic, capable of restoring even severely damaged bodies. This Noi 1/6 scale articulated figure stands approximately 34.8 cm tall and features 39 points of articulation throughout her body. Her riot gear, meticulously designed by Q Hayashida-sensei, is crafted from a combination of composite materials and fabric, and threezero's impressive weathering techniques perfectly capture the worn, aged texture characteristic of the series!
The head sculpt was handled by sculptor Maki Asai. Her long hair features five points of articulation to minimize interference with overall poseability. The masked head sculpt includes two interchangeable eye covers, allowing for adjustments to Noi's expression beneath the mask. Additional accessories include two interchangeable face plates (serious and smiling), six pairs of interchangeable hands, Shin's garbage bag for collecting enemies, and magic smoke effect parts, all of which can be combined to recreate various dynamic scenes from the series!
