The "POKEPLA" series of Pokémon-themed plastic model kits, released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its 57th new product: "Select Series Ceruledge," with a suggested retail price of 1,870 JPY, scheduled for release in March 2025!
The Pokémon Charcadet, which came into being when its life force dwelled in burning charcoal, can evolve into two different forms using either the Cursed Armor imbued with grudges or the Auspicious Armor. The Fire Blades Pokémon, Ceruledge, has arms that are swords of flame burning with the grudges of fallen swordsmen. In battle, its firepower increases, transforming into greatswords. With a cool and reserved personality, it mercilessly cuts down enemies and will even resort to deception, sneak attacks, and other tactics to achieve victory.
"POKEPLA Collection 57 Select Series Ceruledge" recreates its cool appearance, clad in old armor and enveloped in ghostly flames, through its plastic model kit specifications. The armor, a combination of various shades of blue such as indigo and dark blue, is faithfully reproduced with multi-color molded parts. The face is also precisely rendered through detailed part separation, and the flames on its head are even recreated using "insert molding"! Additionally, three different arm parts with varying angles are included, allowing for a wide range of poses, and when combined with the base, it can recreate cool battle scenes!
