The character model kit series 'PLAMATEA', jointly developed by Japanese model manufacturers Good Smile Company and Max Factory, has announced its latest product from the role-playing game 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel', '≪Steel Maiden≫ Arianrhod', slated for release in May 2025.
Approximately 250 years ago in the game, during the 'Lion War', the Erebonian Empire's civil war, the highly skilled ≪Lance Maiden≫ Lianne Sandlot led the Iron Cavalry, dominating the battlefield single-handedly. She piloted ≪Silver Knight≫ Argion to defeat and seal the Crimson End Demon King, but Lianne tragically fell in battle. Incredibly, Lianne's body did not decay over time; six months later, she resurrected as an immortal, traveling across various nations. Over 200 years later, Lianne, for a certain purpose, joined the secret organization 'Ouroboros', becoming the Seventh Anguis, ≪Steel Maiden≫ Arianrhod.
The 'PLAMATEA ≪Steel Maiden≫ Arianrhod' model kit features multiple pre-colored parts and some pre-painted parts. Once assembled, it stands approximately 16 cm tall, with articulated joints throughout the body. It meticulously recreates her impressive heavy armor and the massive lance she wields. Her cape is made from fabric with an embedded wire, allowing for pose adjustments to achieve dynamic battle stances.
In addition to interchangeable parts to display her wearing her helmet, the head also includes one pre-printed face, and unpainted normal and smiling faces where you can apply eye decals to your preferred gaze. Water-slide decals for side-glancing and closed-eye expressions are also included.
