The SD Gundam model kit series 'BB Senshi', released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam", the "Principality of Zeon MS Set", scheduled for release in February 2025.
The 'BB Senshi' series is a long-running Gundam model kit product line that has been continuously sold since 1987, featuring mobile suits from the "Gundam" series rendered in an adorable, approximately three-head-tall SD proportion. The name 'BB Senshi' originated from early products that incorporated mechanisms to fire BB pellets and toy missiles. Although these features were later abolished due to revisions in Japanese toy regulations, the name has been retained to this day, and with advancements in manufacturing technology, the series has evolved to include rich playability such as transformation and combination.
The newly released "Principality of Zeon MS Set" re-releases previously launched Principality of Zeon mobile suits, including a vintage-style set of "218 Zaku II F-Type", "31 Zaku II S-Type", and "238 Gogg & Acguy & Z'Gok", totaling five mobile suits. This allows model enthusiasts to revisit product designs and classic aesthetics from over 20 years ago.
