Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division is launching a new product in its "Sit-Down Squad" (すわらせ隊) series, featuring characters in sitting poses: the "Osamu Tezuka Characters Sit-Down Squad" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in the first week of September 2024!
Osamu Tezuka, known as the "God of Manga" in Japan, created countless brilliant manga works during his lifetime, such as "Black Jack" and "Astro Boy," inspiring a generation of world-renowned manga artists like Naoki Urasawa, Katsuhiro Otomo, and Go Nagai. This "Osamu Tezuka Characters Sit-Down Squad" brings four characters from Tezuka-sensei's pen to life: Pinoko from "Black Jack," Unico from "Unico," Astro Boy from "Astro Boy," and Leo, the protagonist from "Jungle Emperor Leo." These figures adorably recreate the characters' designs with charming proportions and feature sitting poses that match their individual personalities. Lined up, they are incredibly cute and truly convey the powerful charm of the God of Manga!
