Released by Japan's BANDAI toy company's Gashapon brand, the "Capsule Torso" series, which transforms anime and manga character outfits into exquisite gashapon toys, has announced its second product line based on the popular anime "JOJO's Bizarre Adventure": "Capsule Torso JOJO's Bizarre Adventure 02". There are three types available, priced at 500 JPY per capsule, and are scheduled for release in September 2024.
The "Capsule Torso" series, resembling mannequins found in real clothing stores, recreates the distinctive outfits of anime and manga characters in a compact and exquisite 12 cm size. It meticulously carves out details such as clothing styles, patterns, and accessories, complemented by delicate color painting, allowing collectors to fully display the elaborate attire of their beloved characters!
This latest "Capsule Torso JOJO's Bizarre Adventure 02" gashapon features the flamboyant and gorgeous outfits of three characters from "Diamond Is Unbreakable": Josuke Higashikata, Rohan Kishibe, and Yoshikage Kira! It faithfully reproduces details such as open-chest designs, Rohan-sensei's purple and green color scheme, and notably, Yoshikage Kira's tie details are a highlight! The hanger part is finished in luxurious gold, serving not only as decoration but also as a functional display for accessories like earrings and rings.
