Shanghai-based collectible brand Infinity Studio recently unveiled its latest product from the 2013 American sci-fi film "Pacific Rim": the "Cherno Alpha" Alloy Articulated Figure! Shipping is expected to begin in Q4 2024.
In the "Pacific Rim" lore, Cherno Alpha is a first-generation Jaeger, piloted by a Russian couple: Sasha Kaidanovsky & Aleksis Kaidanovsky. Since its deployment in 2015, Cherno Alpha has repeatedly repelled Kaiju, safeguarding the Russian coastline.
In terms of performance, Cherno Alpha is the oldest active Jaeger, excelling in height, weight, defensive power, and combat experience. However, it is slower and lacks an escape pod (too hardcore). In the film, its combat style is a close-quarters melee, perfectly suiting the "fighting nation" ethos. Its fists can not only deliver devastating blows to Kaiju but also unleash powerful electrical currents capable of scorching their bodies.
This Infinity Studio-crafted Cherno Alpha alloy articulated figure stands approximately 35 cm tall, boasting an astonishing 110 points of articulation. It meticulously recreates every detail of the Jaeger's body and its heavy head armor, faithfully adhering to the film's design. The military green armor surface features realistic weathering effects, reflecting the Jaeger's long years of combat. Furthermore, this Cherno Alpha is equipped with 8 LED light-up features, which, when illuminated, significantly enhance its overall visual impact.
In addition to its abundant articulation, this figure also includes a linkage and spring mechanism that allows you to recreate its classic move, the "Z-14 Tesla Fist."
