Toho Large Monsters 'Godzilla-1.0 FAVORITE PRODUCTS LINE Oruro (2023)' – The Terrifying Form of Its Night Raid on Japanese Forces on Odo Island is Now a Figure!

Produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, the monster soft vinyl figure series 'Toho Large Monsters', today announced the second product in collaboration with Taiwan's EZHOBI, the 'OMEGA BEAST' series, 'FAVORITE PRODUCTS LINE Oruro (2023)', scheduled for release in December 2024.

The Godzilla that appeared in 'Godzilla-1.0' was originally an ancient creature inhabiting the deep seas around Odo Island, referred to by local residents as 'Oruro'. With a body resembling a carnivorous dinosaur, standing approximately 15 meters tall, it possessed extraordinary regenerative abilities that made it impervious to firearms. In late 1945, during World War II, it attacked Japanese forces invading its territory, causing significant casualties. However, in 1946, after the war, American nuclear tests near Bikini Atoll caused Oruro to mutate and grow into a 50-meter tall Godzilla. Its exaggerated regenerative capabilities allowed it to recover instantly even after being bombarded by naval vessels, and it could emit nuclear-bomb-level high-power heat rays from its mouth.

The 'Toho Large Monsters FAVORITE PRODUCTS LINE Oruro (2023)' is sculpted by Taiwanese sculptor Lin Kai-en. Measuring 43 cm in length, it captures the terrifying appearance of Oruro's night attack on Japanese forces as it landed on Odo Island at the beginning of the film. High-density details bring to life its dinosaur-like silhouette before mutation, its massive dorsal fins, and the rough texture and patterns of its entire skin. Furthermore, multiple areas such as its thighs and tail are sculpted with rapidly healing wounds from gunfire, showcasing Oruro's extraordinary regenerative abilities.

Additionally, the accessories will include a scene depicting the 'Omen of Oruro's Landing' from the film, featuring deep-sea fish carcasses floating on the sea surface. Utilizing transparent materials, intricate sculpting, and painting, it captures the waves crashing against the rocks and the bloated appearance of deep-sea fish after depressurization.
