World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has launched a new product based on the newly released film "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" – the "Beetlejuice" 1/6 scale collectible figure, with a suggested retail price of US$280, expected to ship between Q3 and Q4 2025!
The 1988 horror-comedy film "Beetlejuice," directed by visionary director Tim Burton, tells the story of a young deceased couple who wish to continue living in their former home and thus enlist the infamous Beetlejuice to scare away the new residents. After 36 years, the sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," featuring the original cast, officially premiered last weekend!
This Beetlejuice 1/6 scale collectible figure is specially launched to celebrate Beetlejuice's return to the big screen. It meticulously recreates actor Michael Keaton's facial features as Beetlejuice with special effects makeup and features an articulated eyeball system for adjusting the figure's gaze. An additional head sculpt captures an exaggerated, surprised expression with protruding eyes and tongue. Both head sculpts utilize flocking technology to replicate his messy green hair. The costume features tailored fabric to recreate the classic black and white striped suit, with weathering effects to achieve a slightly dirty visual appearance.
Accessories include numerous in-movie items such as the Afterlife Newspaper, Handbook for the Recently Deceased, a heart, watch, bracelet, microphone, and nail file. Additionally, a diorama base themed after his tombstone is included, allowing for the recreation of various scenes from the film!
