"ASTRO BOT" Officially Launches Today! A 6-Meter-Tall ASTRO BOT Protagonist Makes a Super-Cute, Three-Day Appearance at the "Launch Celebration Event" for All to Enjoy!

This summer's most adorable masterpiece, "ASTRO BOT," officially launches today exclusively on PlayStation®5 (PS5®)! Developed by Team Asobi, a studio under Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), "ASTRO BOT" delivers a fun and cute gaming experience where you can reunite with over 150 iconic heroes from the PlayStation universe. Sony Interactive Entertainment Taiwan (SIET) announced today (the 6th) that a "Launch Celebration Event" will be held to celebrate the release. The event kicks off today and runs until September 8th at the 1st-floor plaza of Buildings A and B at CITYLINK Nangang in Taipei. The first day has already attracted numerous players to join in the fun!

The event's opening day has already drawn a large crowd of players, all eager to immerse themselves in the fantastical planets of "ASTRO BOT"! To provide a more immersive experience and showcase the unique charm of the game, the organizers have transformed CITYLINK Nangang into game-like scenes, featuring elements such as in-game coins and a level-clear podium. Additionally, a 6-meter-tall figure of the protagonist, ASTRO, is making a super-cute, limited three-day appearance, attracting kids and adults alike to take photos. It is definitely one of this summer's most fun and photogenic check-in spots! To help players get to know "ASTRO BOT" better, an "ASTRO BOT Interactive Drawing Zone" has been set up on-site, inviting everyone to draw the adorable robot. The super-cute hand-drawn style has everyone exclaiming, "So adorable!" Besides being fun and photogenic, there are also several missions on-site waiting for kids and adults to take on!

"ASTRO BOT" is designed for all ages, with various difficulty levels to choose from. Children and beginners can easily clear stages and have a joyful experience, while more difficult levels are available for older players, parents, and veteran gamers to challenge. Its unique level design absolutely makes it one of this year's "must-play games"! The organizers have also launched three "Rescue ASTRO BOT" missions, calling on players to complete them. A dedicated game trial area is set up on-site, allowing players to play freely and experience the excellent haptic feedback from "ASTRO BOT" and the DualSense™ controller! Playing the "ASTRO BOT" game demo on-site will earn you a set of super-cute limited-edition stickers.
