GASHAPON, the gashapon toy brand from Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product in its Mobile Suit Gundam-themed gashapon series, 'CAPSULE ACTION,' featuring "Gundam Exia" from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, slated for release in February 2025.
'CAPSULE ACTION' is a new series of gashapon toys that transforms mobile suits from the Mobile Suit Gundam series into highly articulated models, approximately 9 cm tall. The overall design features more layered, high-density details compared to the original settings, with paintwork faithfully reproducing the various colors and printed body markings for an even more refined texture. The neck, waist, and limbs all boast a commendable level of articulation, allowing for dynamic posing with the included weaponry.
This latest release features Gundam Exia, initially piloted by protagonist Setsuna from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Standing approximately 9 cm tall, it boasts 38 points of articulation and comes equipped with the GN Sword, which can deploy its blade on the right arm, the GN Shield mounted on the left arm, and the GN Long Blade/Short Blade attached to both sides of the waist. The product is available in two collectible color variations: a standard color scheme and a clear red version, reminiscent of its Trans-Am activation.
