SEGA PRIZE, a prize figure brand under Japanese game company SEGA, will feature the upcoming new anime series "Dandadan" as the theme for its popular "Luminasta" series, preemptively unveiling its latest product, "Luminasta Momo Ayase Vol.1." Sold as a prize figure, it is scheduled to appear in October 2024!
The trending work "Dandadan," serialized on Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+," is set in a modern world filled with occult and supernatural elements. It tells the story of Momo Ayase, a gyaru high school student who doesn't believe in aliens but insists on the existence of ghosts, and the male protagonist Ken Takakura, who firmly believes in aliens but doesn't think ghosts exist. To prove their own beliefs are correct, they each head to a spiritual hotspot to begin a "ghost/alien-hunting contest." As a result, Momo Ayase was almost abducted by aliens – the Serpoians, while Ken Takakura was cursed by the Turbo Granny... Thus begins their bizarre, youthful, and battle-filled supernatural life!
The SEGA Prize Figure "Luminasta Momo Ayase Vol.1" measures approximately 21 cm tall. It faithfully recreates her uniform appearance from the series, featuring a pink sweater, and meticulously sculpts details such as the pleats of her skirt and her loose socks. Her prominent side-swept bangs and striking teal earrings are also carefully rendered, and the entire figure is given shadow painting to enhance its three-dimensional feel! With a cool pose with hands on hips, a stern expression on her face, and a slight tilt of her head, coupled with a base of shattered large rocks, it powerfully evokes an intense battle scene!
