American collectible brand Numskull Designs' "TUBBZ" toy series, which transforms characters from major films, anime, manga, and video games into yellow rubber ducks, officially announced its latest products from "Minecraft" yesterday (10th): "Steve" and "Creeper"! They are expected to ship starting November 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$24.99 each.
Developed by Swedish game developer Mojang Studios, "Minecraft" is an open-world game where players can enjoy a high degree of freedom across various modes such as Survival, Creative, and Adventure. While the recently released trailer for the live-action "Minecraft" movie, starring "Jack Black" as Steve, received mixed reviews, it will undoubtedly introduce more people to the charm of "Minecraft."
This time, Steve and Creeper, reinterpreted as bath ducks in the TUBBZ series, are deeply influenced by "Minecraft"'s art design, transforming into completely blocky shapes! Both toys stand at 9 cm tall, with the previously round lines of the yellow rubber duck gone, replaced by angular, cubic forms. Even their tails have become sleek and sharp! They are definitely a unique and very interesting addition among the many TUBBZ products.
