Under SEGA Games Japan's SEGA PRIZE brand, the popular "Luminasta" series will feature the upcoming new anime "Dandadan" as its theme, preemptively revealing the latest product, "Luminasta Okarun (Transformed State) Vol.1". It will be sold as a prize figure and is scheduled to appear in October 2024!
The trending work "Dandadan," serialized on Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+", is set in a modern world full of occult and supernatural phenomena. It tells the story of the male protagonist, Ken Takakura (Okarun), who firmly believes in the existence of aliens but not ghosts, and Momo Ayase, a gyaru high school student who doesn't believe in aliens but insists on the existence of ghosts. To prove their own beliefs are correct, the two embark on a "ghost/alien hunting competition" at spiritual hotspots. As a result, Momo Ayase was almost abducted by aliens—the Serpoians—while Ken Takakura was cursed by the Turbo Granny. Although he lost his "balls," he also gained the Turbo Granny's abilities.
The SEGA Prize Figure "Luminasta Okarun (Transformed State) Vol.1" stands approximately 15 cm tall. It appears in his transformed state, utilizing the Turbo Granny's abilities, meticulously depicting his wild white hair, tooth-like mask, and more. Presented in a dynamic, crouching pose, combined with the shattered rock base, it conveys a sense of being in the midst of battle! The glasses are made of transparent material, and the uniform's gradient paintwork and dynamic, flowing sculpt, lifted by his movement, give it a very powerful presence!
