LEGO Group, the Danish toy company, has officially announced the LEGO Ideas Series set number 21352, "Magic of Disney"! It is scheduled for release on October 1, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$99.99.
September 16, 2024 Update:
This set is the winning entry from the Disney-themed building competition "100 years of fairytales!" held on the LEGO IDEAS platform in 2023. The original designer is 2A2A, who created a main structure featuring Sorcerer Mickey surrounded by various small scenes. The officially commercialized "21352 Magic of Disney" contains 1108 pieces and measures 27 cm in length when assembled. The overall composition and concept remain largely unchanged, but the central Sorcerer Mickey's design has been refined, and the themes and characters of the surrounding scenes have been significantly adjusted. Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Lilo from Lilo & Stitch, Geppetto the old carpenter from Pinocchio, and Bruno from Encanto are all brand new minifigures!
Additionally, there are three adorable animal characters: Simba, Flounder, and Sebastian, which can be paired together. You can also spot the magical broom with arms, designed based on The Sorcerer's Apprentice, within the scene! It's truly charming; each small scene not only provides a perfect spot for the minifigures but also brilliantly conveys the character's respective movie setting and iconic objects from the film with just a few pieces.
