BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO, known for its "GLITTER&GLAMOURS" series which highlights the charm of the female physique, is not only releasing "Liliel" and "Rastarori" this September, but will also release "Liliel" and "Mirella" Sanitation Squad ver. figures in November 2024!
The romantic comedy manga "2.5 Dimensional Seduction," created by Yu Hashimoto and serialized on Shonen Jump+, features protagonist Masamune Okumura, a veteran otaku and president of the manga research club. He possesses an almost fanatical obsession with the 2D character Liliel, claiming to have "no interest in 3D women." However, after first-year student Ririsa Amano joins the club and cosplays as Liliel right before his eyes, Okumura's long-held beliefs are shaken... Could this be the "2.5 Dimensional" seduction?!
These two figures are designed based on Episode 3 of the anime, where Ririsa and Mikari wear Ririsa's self-made cosplay outfits. In the setting of "Ashford Senki" (アシュフォード戦記), this is Mirella's costume after joining the squad – with very minimal fabric! Even the chest is covered by just a relatively thick rectangular piece of cloth, making it quite revealing. This time, Liliel and Mirella faithfully reproduce the colors of their hair and outfits, and their expressions and poses are incredibly cute. The intricate texture and wrinkles of the costumes were achieved by 3D scanning actual clothing worn by humans, meticulously replicating the realistic fabric feel on the figures, and showcasing an excellent glossy finish. They are truly irresistible.
