Always bringing smiles with their creative and humorous works, Panda's Ana (パンダの穴), a gashapon brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY toy company, is once again having different animals offer even more things to you all, following their "Please Accept This." series! The "Please Accept This Again." (tentative translation, もっと、お納めください。) gashapon toys are scheduled for release in October 2024, with a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per capsule, and a total of 5 types to collect.
The "Please Accept This." gashapon, featuring "animals offering their most cherished possessions," is set with the premise that animals make these choices to survive in a dog-eat-dog world. The product description and animal designs exude a tragic sense of "Today, too, I must offer what I love to someone." Holding their favorite foods with both hands, coupled with unusually respectful body language, the more you look, the more it feels like a heavy atmosphere of paying protection money. It feels so... so difficult!
This time, "Please Accept This Again." gathers even more animals, including the "Panda" offering bamboo, the "Hamster" presenting a sunflower seed, the "Fox" neatly folding its treasured fried tofu skin, the "Penguin" sincerely handing over high-grade squid, and the "Rabbit" surrendering its entire carrot. Coupled with phrases from the official images like "Please give me another chance," "I got carried away just now," and "It's all thanks to you," the editor feels as if they're witnessing a hierarchical society much like our own! Whether collecting a complete set, pairing them with other animal toys, or gathering many of the same animal for play, as shown in the official images, it's absolutely fantastic.
