Yesterday (22nd), TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., officially announced the sales information for a new product in its "Figuarts ZERO" character figure series, specifically the "EXTRA BATTLE" sub-series which combines dynamic character poses with elaborate effect parts. This new product, themed after the popular anime and manga《One Piece》, is "Sabo -Fire Fist: King's Rook-". It has a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2025!
"Fire Fist: King's Rook" is a Flame-Flame Fruit ability attack used by Sabo to strike Imu-sama in episode 1119 of the anime (corresponding to manga chapter 1085), which aired last week. However, due to accidentally uncovering the truth of the world, he was falsely accused by the World Government of assassinating King Cobra of Alabasta.
This "Sabo -Fire Fist: King's Rook-" figure stands approximately 19 cm tall and is made from composite plastic materials. It features Sabo's in-series appearance with a white cape and blue vest, and comes with a generous amount of flame effect parts, recreating his airborne attack pose. The flames are rendered with a combination of paintwork and clear materials to achieve a scorching visual effect, bringing to life Sabo's cool stance as he stands in defiance!
