Singaporean toy company Mighty Jaxx, known for injecting popular elements into beloved characters and reinterpreting them with fresh styles, recently unveiled a highly entertaining new set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed products: the "Remixx: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowa-BOO-nga!" 6-inch vinyl toys! Pre-orders are currently open on the Mighty Jaxx official website, with an estimated shipping date of November 2024. The suggested retail price is US$24.99 per figure or US$99.96 for the complete set.
The biggest highlight of these 6-inch TMNT vinyl figures, designed with a Halloween costume theme, is undoubtedly their portrayal of the Turtles dressed as classic villains from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story! This includes Leonardo donning Shredder's helmet and cape, Raphael and Michelangelo crafting DIY heads of Bebop the mutant warthog and Rocksteady the mutant rhino from cardboard, and Donatello transforming into the mad scientist Baxter Stockman. In addition to the cardboard wings, tape marks, and a pair of extra arms at the waist, the combination of goggles and wig is absolutely adorable.
The accessories also feature plenty of Ninja Turtles elements, including the Foot Clan ninja mask and Krang's body used as candy containers, as well as the Mouser robot on Raphael's sack. The more you look, the more you love them! The product name is also quite clever, changing from the familiar "Cowabunga!" to "Cowa-BOO-nga!" to fit the Halloween theme. So cool.
