Story Synopsis
At this time, the emperor of the entire star cluster is Oldna Poseidal. Poseidal is a natural albino with an IQ exceeding 500, possessing long life and unfading beauty. In his quest to unify the star cluster, Poseidal launched the "Mizu War" on the planet Mizum, one of the five planets, wiping out its inhabitants, the Yaman Clan. However, one prince from the "Kamon Royal Family" managed to escape...
18 years later, on the planet Koam, a young man from the countryside appears - Daba Myroad. After the death of his adoptive father, he learns the secret of his lineage, but at this point, he has not yet considered revenge. His friend from the same village, Kyao Mirao, leaves to join Poseidal's army, and Daba accompanies him.
Due to his long reign, Poseidal's rule has become corrupt, and voices of rebellion are rising everywhere. Through various twists of fate, Daba meets beautiful young women like Amu and Leccee, and befriends the small fairy, Lilith. This group later stumbles into joining the rebel army. Daba pilots the Heavy Metal L-Gaim, reclaims his true name - Kamon Myroad, and eventually becomes the leader of the rebellion, leading the fight against Poseidal's Palace Knights...

This fully articulated figure is based on the garage kit prototype sculpted by Takanori (RED FOX)! Its appearance differs slightly from the anime design, featuring a full-color paint job with pearl white and metallic brown to create a premium feel. Die-cast parts are used in multiple areas, giving it a satisfyingly hefty feel! It's packed with intricate gimmicks, such as the storable hoverbike and deployable turbulence stabilizers, and includes a veritable feast of armaments, offering immense playability!
Head height is approximately 190mm / Maximum height is approximately 230mm (with the Land Booster (Light) attached). The main color scheme consists of pearl white, metallic brown, and gray. It comes with a rich array of accessories, including: Power Launcher (left/right), Power Launcher Cable x 2, Solar Binder, Saber Grip x 2, Lancer Grip, Beam Blade x 3, S-mine, Forearm Armor x 2, Land Booster (Light), Buster Launcher, Buster Launcher Cable x 3, Open hands (left/right), Lancer/Saber holding hands (left/right), Buster Launcher holding hand (right), Hoverbike (Flicker) in Normal Mode & Cockpit Combination Mode, and more.
The body features fine panel lines and a clean, sharp sculpt! In terms of articulation, aside from the head, there's practically nothing to criticize. Posing it in any dynamic stance is effortless. The gliding mechanisms on both legs can also be opened, faithfully recreating the internal structure and linkage. Even the stored state of the Flicker is perfectly represented. The QC is decent, though the appearance deviates significantly from the original design. Overall, besides the price, there are really no other drawbacks...
I repeat, my love for Heavy Metal is second to none! I hope we get to see a third release in the series...
