TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., is releasing a new product in the S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series based on "Kamen Rider Hibiki"—the "Armored Hibiki" action figure. It will retail for 12,100 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2025!
Kamen Rider Hibiki differed significantly from the previous six Heisei Kamen Riders in terms of plot and design, initially not even being categorized as a Kamen Rider. Its toy sales were also the lowest among the 20 Heisei Riders. However, the series' artistic direction was exceptionally tasteful, still attracting a dedicated fanbase for Hibiki.
"Armored Hibiki" is the form achieved by using the Ongeki Zoufuken - Armed Saber. This action figure, crafted with the Shinkocchou Seihou technique—sculpting from the skeletal structure, then muscle, and finally outward to the costume—faithfully recreates the iconic streamlined armored design of Hibiki's final form. It features a pearlescent paint finish to achieve a dazzling gold, red, and black color scheme. Accessories include interchangeable hands and the weapons "Ongekibou Rekka" (Sound Attack Rod Rekka) and "Ongeki Zoufuken - Armed Saber" (Sound Attack Amplification Sword - Armed Saber), allowing for the recreation of cool dynamic poses for special moves like Ongekiha - Kishin Kakusei (Sound Attack Wave - Demon God Awakening)!
