KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, today announced the latest product in its highly customizable model kit series, 'HEXA GEAR,' the 'Bulkarm λ Wolfzarg,' slated for release in March 2025.
The Bulkarm λ Wolfzarg is a "destroyer-type HEXA GEAR" from the second-generation high-performance 'Bulkarm λ' series developed by MSGVF. It specializes in close-quarters combat and melee performance, designed to swiftly and decisively eliminate targets. Capable of neutralizing enemy strategies and directly impacting morale, the Wolfzarg is equipped with powerful armaments such as functional armor, a super-large variable mace, and offensive electromagnetic gauntlets. However, even when the Wolfzarg completes its destruction missions, its excessively high energy consumption often leaves the unit depleted and unable to return, leading to its nickname evolving from "Extermination Squad" to "Punishment Squad".
The "HEXA GEAR Bulkarm λ Wolfzarg" is constructed from seven colors of molded parts, including deep green, light gray, gray, gunmetal, silver, clear red, and clear orange. The entire unit is based on a modified version of the original Bulkarm λ series frame, utilizing numerous new parts to recreate its cool armor design and super-large armaments, showcasing a heavy, high-density detailed texture while also featuring flexible articulation.
Various parts of the unit also feature multiple movable and deployable designs: the twin horns on the head are articulated, the face mask can open and close, and the chest features a cockpit deployment mechanism. The main armament, the super-large variable mace, can transform into a greatsword form or be reassembled into a large scythe. The offensive electromagnetic gauntlet on the left arm can deploy its internal capacitors to replicate an attack state.
