American toy manufacturer JADA TOYS is once again releasing a new product based on Capcom's "Street Fighter" series – the "Guile" 6-inch action figure. It has a suggested retail price of US$24.99 and is expected to be released in Q4 2024!
Guile (also translated as Kyle/Gulie), first appeared in "Street Fighter II." He is a U.S. Air Force Major whose comrade, Nash, was tragically killed by M. Bison while investigating Shadaloo. After learning that M. Bison was holding a World Warrior tournament to find capable fighters, Guile donned Nash's dog tag necklace and stepped onto the tournament stage to seek revenge for Nash.
This Guile action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating his iconic hairstyle, which was originally inspired by the popular character Polnareff from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3. His muscular physique, various body details, and fierce, serious expression are meticulously sculpted. The dog tag necklace on his chest, like the upcoming "Dee Jay" figure, features a ball chain. Accessories include a set of interchangeable hands, among which is a hand holding a comb, allowing fans to recreate his victory animation where he tidies his broom-like hair. Furthermore, an effect part for his signature move, "Sonic Boom," is included, adding to the overall display enjoyment!
The outer packaging will also feature a window-box design, replicating the classic "Street Fighter II" arcade cabinet. This not only evokes the original excitement of the game but also allows collectors to get a sneak peek at the product's appeal!
