Japanese toy company UNION CREATIVE (ユニオンクリエイティブ株式会社) recently announced their latest product from the popular anime "OSHI NO KO": the "Arima Kana Cat Maid ver." (有馬かな 猫メイドver.) 1/6 scale pre-painted figure! Both a standard edition and a limited edition will be released simultaneously, with shipping scheduled to begin in May 2025, at a suggested retail price of 19,500 JPY.
Arima Kana, the genius child actress renowned for being able to lick baking soda... no, for being able to cry in 10 seconds, is now immortalized in an incredibly cute cat maid outfit! This figure completely hides Arima's usual tsundere and sharp-tongued personality, as you'll be instantly captivated by her gentle, radiant smile. In addition to meticulously recreating her iconic red hair and sparkling eyes, the cat ear headband, the cat tail tied with a black bow, and the grey-and-black themed maid outfit are all exquisitely detailed. The pleats and shading effects further highlight the soft and fluffy texture of the skirt, while the large ribbon at her back is eye-catching and playful. The overall cuteness is simply irresistible.
▼ The limited edition, released simultaneously, will also include twin-tail hair parts and an interchangeable expression with a slightly shy feeling! The head sculpts and parts from both versions can be interchanged.
