From China's high-quality collectible toy brand HIYA TOYS, their EXQUISITE BASIC series is set to release its latest product based on the movie 'Godzilla 2000': the "Godzilla (1999)" non-scale 7-inch action figure! The suggested retail price is US$51, with an estimated release in Q2 2025.
The Godzilla series film 'Godzilla 2000', released at the end of 1999, features a Godzilla known as "Millennium Godzilla." In its lore, it is the second Godzilla to appear after the original 1954 Godzilla, possessing powerful regenerative G-cells. Its design and appearance are distinctly different from previous iterations, with an overall dark green body color and sharp, flame-like large dorsal fins tipped with striking purple; its mouth is enlarged, giving it a more reptilian appearance.
The HIYA TOYS "EXQUISITE BASIC Godzilla (1999)" non-scale 7-inch action figure stands approximately 18 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Millennium Godzilla's fierce gaze, reptilian fangs, and large mouth, with meticulous detailing of the sharp dark green skin and other suit features. The teeth and claws are given a yellowish weathering paint application to enhance their organic feel; the tips of the sharp dorsal fins are painted in metallic purple, creating a striking luster, perfectly reproducing Millennium Godzilla's unique design!
The entire body features multiple points of articulation, allowing for a wide range of posing while faithfully reproducing its appearance. This includes a rotatable chest, shoulders and thighs that can move up, down, left, and right, and knees that bend beyond 90°. The multi-segmented tail allows for natural dynamic poses, and combined with interchangeable open-claw hand parts, it can recreate various battle scenes from the film!
