Following the "Japanese Toad and Moriya Tree Frog" release, Bandai's GASHAPON brand, known for its "Creature Encyclopedia Repti" series, has unveiled its latest hilarious and adorable product: the "Creature Encyclopedia Repti: Budgett's Frog & Pacman Frog" gashapon! There are five types in total, with a reference price of 500 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in late December 2024.
The "Creature Encyclopedia Repti: Budgett's Frog & Pacman Frog" gashapon features the charmingly amusing Budgett's Frog (also known as the "clown frog") and the popular pet Pacman Frog as its main characters. These figures are a simplified version with 9 points of articulation, including the mouth, hands, and feet, measuring approximately 60 mm in length. They meticulously recreate the frogs' distinctive skin warts, large eyes, and wide mouths. The lineup includes Budgett's Frogs in three colors: light green, dark green, and yellow, along with new color variations for the Pacman Frog in red and mint! Their characteristic skin and adorably dazed eyes make them incredibly cute when held in your palm!
