"The Amazing Spider-Man" is a 2012 reboot that followed the critically acclaimed Spider-Man series directed by Sam Raimi in the 2000s, reintroducing a different Spider-Man origin story to movie audiences. In the film, Peter, who has just gained his powers, confronts the classic comic book villain, the Lizard, who was mutated from genetic engineering doctor Curtis Connors.
This "The Amazing Spider-Man" 1/6 scale collectible action figure stands approximately 30 cm tall. It is a new version released 12 years after the version launched when the 2012 film premiered, re-created with the latest development technology. The brand-new body significantly enhances the articulation of the figure's shoulder joints, and the muscular lines, combined with the suit made of fiber fabric and drip-glue web composite material, visually adhere more closely to the big-screen appearance! The head sculpt of actor Andrew Garfield has also been re-carved, featuring a movable eyeball mechanism to adjust the gaze, vividly reproducing his expression from the film!
Accessories include the iconic yellow-lensed masked head sculpt with narrow eyes for this version, a detached mask, multiple sets of interchangeable hands, the blue backpack used in the film, a skateboard, a camera, a mobile phone, and web-shooting effects, allowing for a variety of dynamic poses! The deluxe version also includes a diorama base approximately 63 cm tall, recreating the classic scene of Spider-Man battling on the Oscorp tower rooftop. The red light at the top of the tower features an LED light-up function, making the overall display even more realistic and captivating!
