Japanese model company Kaiyodo (KAIYODO) officially announced today (25th) on its official Twitter account the sales information for the upcoming DC Comics popular character, "Batman Beyond," in its popular "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" action figure series. The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, with an estimated release in July 2025!
Batman Beyond first appeared in the eponymous animated television series "Batman Beyond," which premiered in January 1999 and succeeded the highly popular "Batman: The Animated Series." It tells the story of Bruce, who, due to old age, can no longer continue as Batman, passing on his mantle to Terry McGinnis, a young man he coincidentally met, who then becomes Gotham's new protector.
The prototype for this AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Batman Beyond was personally sculpted by the series' production director, Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. It adopts the highly technological design of Batman Beyond from DC Comics' main continuity after 2016, meticulously carving out various textured details on Batman's mechanical suit. The simple black and red color scheme is far from monotonous on the intricate engraved lines, further enhancing the overall novel visual effect!
Accessories include a gritted-teeth interchangeable head sculpt, multiple sets of interchangeable hands, Batarangs, a pair of wings, and flame effects for the foot thrusters.
