AMAKUNI, a figure brand under Japan's HobbyJapan Co., Ltd., is releasing the latest product in its "Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Monster Figure Collection" series, the "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" 1/7 scale figure, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" card game. The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, with an estimated release in June-July 2025.
The Level 3 Tuner monster card "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" is one of the powerful and versatile "hand traps" that can negate an opponent's Spell, Trap, or monster effects. It can effectively disrupt almost all deck strategies, making it a highly adopted card in the current meta. The card's imagery is inspired by the Japanese fairy tale "The Dog and the Old Man" (Hanasaka Jiisan), and players often perceive it as the spirit of a white puppy.
The "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 23 cm tall. Inspired by the card's artwork, the adorable Ash Blossom is brought to life in three dimensions! The delicate kimono is meticulously sculpted, with her fair legs appearing even more slender against the flowing hem, creating a dynamic pose as if gracefully dancing amidst cherry blossoms. Her tiny hands, hidden within the sleeves, reveal details not visible on the card. Her fluffy, cute ears and tail, combined with a mischievous tongue-out expression, exude an innocent and endearing charm, embodying a universally appealing beauty.
