Japan's Bushiroad Co., Ltd. (BR Co.)'s anime and manga merchandise distributor Bushiroad Creative's brand "PalVerse" recently, in addition to "PalVerse Bocchi the Rock! Mini Collectible Figures", also simultaneously unveiled another new product from the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "PalVerse Palé Bocchi the Rock!" Mini Collectible Figures. The suggested retail price is 3,300 JPY for a set of four, with an estimated release date of March 21, 2025!
The four main characters form Kessoku Band (結束バンド), which means "cable tie" in Japanese. The "結束 (kessoku)" part means "unity," and the "バンド (bando)" part, meaning "tie" (as in cable tie), is also pronounced the same as "band" (as in music band). Therefore, Nijika chose this name, full of puns and with a somewhat positive meaning, as the band's name!
This time, Kessoku Band also joins the "PalVerse Palé" series, which combines anime characters with paint palettes. Adopting the same cute 3-head-tall proportion as PalVerse, these figures depict Hitori (Bocchi), Nijika, Ryo, and Kita holding a guitar, drumsticks, bass, and guitar respectively. They are posed with even more dynamic movement than the standard PalVerse versions, lined up as if the band is performing on stage! The bases continue the Palé series' paint theme, designed as oil paint palettes with character-corresponding colored paints on the side, showcasing Kessoku Band's unique charm with vibrant colors, band-themed designs, and lively poses!
