Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) announced today (25th) a lineup of new products scheduled for release in January 2025. This article will introduce the super cool, super fun, and definitely must-collect "Tokyo Kaiju Universe" (東京怪獣ユニバース) gashapon toys! There are four types to collect, with a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per capsule.
This work is the third installment of Kenelephant's new brand "Passionate PRODUCT," launched in collaboration with artists under the philosophy of "making the world more interesting." The original design comes from Japanese artist Takuma Fujisaki's "Kaiju Encyclopedia: Tokyo Kaiju Universe." The four types are: the metropolitan kaiju, the super-gigantic mutated cat "Nyagon"; the cosmic kaiju, the bio-engineered frog "Kaizo Gamagora" with long tentacles and integrated with a UFO; the computer kaiju, the eerie panda "Pandam" with a rather unsettling head design; and the cosmic kaiju, the mutated tuna "Magrori" that has grown four limbs to adapt to land and even has an airplane on its back!
With imaginative and unique designs, coupled with Kenelephant's consistent high-quality craftsmanship, this editor personally believes this gashapon set will definitely be one of 2024's must-have toys! It's truly fascinating~ Toy enthusiasts who enjoy Takuma Fujisaki's fluffy alien MOGOL ALIEN might also want to collect his bizarre kaiju designs.
