Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS" series, which combines metallic paint finishes and die-cast frames, today officially announced the latest product from "Super Robot Wars DD", the "(Ka signature Full Armored Huckebein", scheduled for release in February 2025. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The original new machine RTX-008-02FA Full Armored Huckebein, which appeared in the mobile game "Super Robot Wars DD" in late September 2024, is a unit released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Huckebein". Its color scheme differs from the dark blue commonly seen in the OG series, instead adopting the aqua blue from its first appearance in "Super Robot Wars 4". This unit re-designs the "Huckebein 30th" from "Super Robot Wars 30", which shared a similar concept, back into the OG world. In its setting, the original Huckebein is rebuilt, maintaining its Black Hole Engine power source and equipped with armaments used by successor models, giving it attack power equivalent to its successors.
The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) Full Armored Huckebein" is a modification based on the previously released Huckebein 30th. The entire machine's color scheme has been changed to the aqua blue from the Huckebein's first appearance, and it features newly designed body markings. The exterior is made of ABS and other materials, creating sharp and precise details, while the frame is made of die-cast metal, providing flexible articulation, stability, and a substantial feel when handled.
The armaments are also essentially the same as the Huckebein 30th, including the High-Altitude Flight Unit, Photon Rifle, Gravity Rifle, Black Hole Cannon, two Beam Swords, the Leap Slasher with 6 fan-shaped parts and effects, and micro-missiles deployed above the back thrusters.
The two Gravity Rifles on the back and the High-Altitude Flight Unit can separate from the main body into an auto-tracking mode, and can recreate the "Double Gravity Rifle" firing pose with the main body. When the Photon Rifle and the two Gravity Rifles are mounted on the back, holding the Black Hole Cannon allows for the recreation of the game's special move, the "Full Power Black Hole Cannon" firing pose!
