Japan's Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. has launched a new brand, "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES GLITTER," derived from its popular soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES." This new line incorporates LED devices for light-up functions, with "Burning Godzilla," celebrating its 30th anniversary, as the commemorative first release! The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2025.
The "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES GLITTER Burning Godzilla" soft vinyl figure, though made of soft vinyl, features a structure that allows two LED components to be installed inside the main body, creating the effect of burning light emanating from within!
To reproduce the translucency of the LED light, the main body is molded in translucent orange-red and then painted with black, recreating Burning Godzilla's majestic appearance with scorching orange-red light emanating from its chest, abdomen, and thighs, indicating an extremely high surface temperature! While partially utilizing the sculpt of the "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES Burning Godzilla," it incorporates newly designed head and tail parts, fully reproducing intricate details such as sharp eyes and characteristic fangs, clearly demonstrating an evolution in sculpting.
