Shiranui Ninjutsu burns! PIJI Studio, which has released numerous video game character statues, has obtained authorization from SNK to launch a 1/6 scale figure of SNK's super popular female character, "Mai Shiranui", from their fighting game series. It is scheduled for release in October 2025, with a reference price of 29,700 JPY.
If Chun-Li is CAPCOM's signature female fighter, then Mai Shiranui undoubtedly takes on this role for SNK. Her fiery physique, fan in hand, and mastery of fire-based techniques are Mai Shiranui's indelible impressions. Debuting in "Fatal Fury 2," Mai Shiranui immediately garnered immense popularity among players. From Fatal Fury to The King of Fighters, Mai Shiranui has consistently been a prominent character, and her often ambiguous relationship with Andy Bogard of the Bogard brothers is always a focal point of interest.
This Mai Shiranui figure, produced by PIJI Studio, is crafted in 1/6 scale, standing approximately 30.4 cm tall. Mai Shiranui's design references her appearance in "The King of Fighters XIV" (KOF XIV). Her belt features an intricate and beautiful gold and black pattern, and the back hem of her ninja attire also boasts a lovely white floral design. Mai Shiranui is depicted in a seated pose, with crossed legs, holding her beloved fan in her right hand, complete with flame effects. Her perfectly slender and attractive figure, combined with a cool and alluring expression, presents an overall stunning appearance.
