With the arrival of the enhanced PlayStation 5 Pro console, many players are eager to see which games will leverage the new technology for performance and visual upgrades. Sony Interactive Entertainment, along with its various game developers, has begun announcing titles that will incorporate these Pro enhancements. Among them, Insomniac Games, the studio behind the "Marvel's Spider-Man" series, has released updates including news on the upcoming "Marvel's Wolverine".

According to official information from Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games' Core Technology Director Mike Fitzgerald discussed the titles they hope to enhance using PS5 Pro technology. In addition to four games already released on PlayStation 5—"Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered", "Spider-Man: Miles Morales", "Marvel's Spider-Man 2", and the separate IP "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart"—"Marvel's Wolverine" will also offer a new Pro Mode featuring 4K resolution in Fidelity mode, ray tracing, and 60 frames per second.
While this remains the only new information for "Marvel's Wolverine" so far, the development team has emphasized that last year's hacker attack on Insomniac Games did not impact the game's production schedule, meaning further news on the new title is still some time away. However, with official performance details now announced, it's possible that more specifics for "Marvel's Wolverine" could be revealed in the near future, perhaps coinciding with the PlayStation 5 Pro's launch.

Beyond the highly anticipated "Marvel's Wolverine," recent rumors from "GamingLeaksAndRumors" suggest that Insomniac Games posted a job opening for a Senior Gameplay Animator on Greenhouse.io. The listing reportedly specifies requirements for creating "high-quality animations for hero movement, combat, boss encounters, missions, and open-world elements using the game engine". This has led to speculation that "Marvel's Spider-Man 3" may also be in its early planning stages.
