Netflix has unveiled the first stills from "The Electric State," the upcoming graphic novel adaptation directed by "Avengers: Endgame" helmers the Russo Brothers and starring "Stranger Things" breakout Millie Bobby Brown and "Guardians of the Galaxy" lead Chris Pratt. The images showcase peculiar, '90s-inspired robots.

Set in an alternate 1997, "The Electric State" depicts a world where technological collapse has led to a proliferation of bizarre robots locked in perpetual combat. Amidst this chaos, humans are confined to virtual reality via helmets. The story follows a young girl named Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) who, alongside a robot, embarks on a quest to find her missing brother in this tech-ravaged landscape.
In addition to Brown and Pratt, the star-studded cast also features Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan from "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and Stanley Tucci, known for his roles in films such as "The Lovely Bones."

The film also boasts an impressive voice cast for its robotic characters, including Brian Cox ("The Bourne Identity"), Jenny Slate ("Despicable Me 3"), Giancarlo Esposito ("Breaking Bad"), Anthony Mackie ("Captain America: Brave New World"), and Billy Bob Thornton ("The Gray Man").
"The Electric State" is slated for an exclusive global premiere on Netflix in March 2025.
