Japanese capsule toy brand Qualia is set to release a very interesting new product—the "Indomitable Fist" (tentative translation: Okiagari Kobushi) Gashapon. With a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per turn, it is scheduled for official launch this October!
This "Indomitable Fist" released by Qualia is a pun on "Okiagari Koboshi" (a roly-poly doll), where the "koboshi" at the end is changed to "kobushi" for "fist." By combining the concept of a roly-poly doll with the imagery of a fist, they have created a fist-shaped roly-poly doll that won't fall down no matter how much it's pushed, showcasing an indomitable will! It includes five styles: the standard "Fist," the tanned "Golden Fist," the "Warrior Fist" with a fighter's aura, the "Chūnibyō Fist" with a magic circle printed on the back of the hand, and the blue-green zombie-shaped "Zombie Fist." Placing them on a table and pushing them simultaneously can also create a battle-like play experience. Come and grasp your own resilient fist!
