Today, TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, announced the commercialization of the latest entry in its HI-METAL R alloy model series, the "Scopedog (Space Battle Specification)" from Armored Trooper VOTOMS. Detailed product information will be announced at a later date.
Developed by the Gilgamesh Army, the official main AT, the "ATM-09-ST Scopedog," was the most mass-produced unit during the Hundred Years' War. In the series, in addition to being piloted by the protagonist Chirico Cuvie, its extremely high versatility led to its modification into various derivative specifications, utilized across different units. In the first episode of the anime, the protagonist Chirico also piloted a space battle specification equipped with multi-directional thrusters on its back, though it was quickly destroyed.
The "HI-METAL R Scopedog (Space Battle Specification)" will be based on the previously released Scopedog body. Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall and constructed from materials such as plastic and an alloy frame, it will faithfully reproduce the practical armor and mechanisms of each section. The space battle specification will be recreated with newly molded parts for its multi-directional thrusters and other armaments, along with a new color scheme.
