American toy company Mattel's online sales platform, Mattel Creations, which collaborates with fan creators, is set to release a new product based on Mattel's classic toy IP, "Masters of the Universe"—the "New Eternia Oversized Horde Trooper" action figure. With a suggested retail price of US$33, it will be available for purchase starting October 15th at 09:00 AM Pacific Time!
The Horde Trooper first appeared on television in "She-Ra: Princess of Power," a spin-off of "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" featuring He-Man's sister. They form the vast army of Hordak's "Evil Horde" faction and played a significant role in the invasion of Eternia.
This Oversized Horde Trooper is crafted with the more realistic physique characteristic of the Masterverse series, standing approximately 8.5 inches tall. It features 32 points of articulation throughout its body, making it appear quite imposing next to other Masterverse figures! The mechanical design details are presented in a large scale, painted to replicate a metallic texture. The figure's armor and helmet are removable, officially confirming the Horde Trooper's identity as a goblin clad in armor, finally solving a long-standing mystery for fans! Accessories include a sword, a spear with articulated wings, and a backpack for weapon storage. The packaging features an epic battle scene between the Horde Troopers and the Royal Eternian Guard, perfect for collectors to display!
